Occupant Classification System

Tasked with detecting whether or not there is a passenger present, the Occupant Classification System is very important for passenger safety.

When to Calibrate Occupant Classification System

  • Whenever the front passenger seat is removed
  • If any part of the seat OCS system is replaced

Front Radar

The Front Radar System, located in the front bumper/grille, reads the road with radio frequencies and helps determine a safe following distance. In some variations of the radar, it will bring the vehicle to a stop or allow an adjustable cruise control experience that varies with the flow of traffic.

  • After any repair situation to the front of the vehicle that would cause the radar sensor to be shifted, removed, reinstalled, or jolted in the collision

With our access to CONSULT-III Plus and Nissan Technical Information, we are also able to provide other various calibrations/programming as well as raw data performance readings and latest repair procedures on all modern Nissan and Infiniti vehicles
