About Us
Factory Reset started in late-2018 when two local families were sharing Thanksgiving dinner. We are a local, veteran owned company that focuses on the safety and proper treatment of automobiles involved in a collision. Our founders, Brent and Jon, met as 5-year-olds at Minnehaha Elementary School in 1992. After high school, Brent left Vancouver to serve in the Marine Corps, earned his BS in Management and Economics, and eventually his MBA in Finance and Operations Management. Meanwhile, Jon stayed local, immediately joining the automotive industry and worked his way up through the ranks and into management. Jon has been married to his high school sweetheart, Ilea, since 2010 and they have four daughters. Brent returned to Vancouver after spending several years working in the Tech start-up industry in California. He and his wife have two daughters together. Factory Reset is the result of several months’ conversation between Brent and Jon about an industry need Jon recognized back in 2016. It was over that Thanksgiving weekend they decided to take the leap and go all-in on Factory Reset.

Our MISSION is to bring vehicles back to factory standards using the latest technology. We use only OEM equipment and software to provide the best possible scanning and ADAS calibration services available. We improve cycle time by offering same day service when possible and always 24-hour turnaround.This allows your shop to avoid the 3 – 5 day wait at the dealership. As a 100% mobile service, we strive to free up your team by offer free pickup and delivery of all off-site calibrations so there is no longer any need to send two employees back and forth to the dealership. But at the end of the day, our goal is always to ensure life saving sensors and systems are properly tuned so drivers and their passengers are as safe as possible.
Brent – Co-Owner and Administration
Brent was born and raised in Vancouver, WA until leaving for the Marines at age 18. After four years of service and two combat deployments, Brent returned to Washington and earned his Bachelors degree in Business Management with a minor in Economics while working as a project manager in security electronics. Brent later completed his MBA with concentrations in Operations and Financial Management at UC Riverside in California and entered the world of tech start-ups. Brent invested in Factory Reset when Jon, his friend since childhood, brought the idea to him in late 2018. Since founding the company, Brent has taken an active role in customer success and administration.
Jon – Manager and Co-Owner
Jon was raised in Vancouver WA. Attended and graduated from Hudson’s Bay High School. After graduation, he entered into the automotive industry working at both dealerships and collision repair facilities. After over a decade in the collision repair industry, he saw an opportunity to make things easier on body shops by providing a mobile service for what would otherwise require a trip to a dealership. After talking with his childhood friend Brent, about this opportunity, Factory Reset was born.
